Sale of K500 lottery tickets will officially stop by end of April

The sale of K500 lottery tickets will officially stop at the end of April and only the sale of K1000 lottery tickets will continue, said Deputy Director Ei Ei Khaing from Aungbarlay lottery department.
       “The lucky draw of K500 lottery tickets is opened for 23rd times now and they will be stopped selling after the 26th lucky draw,” she said.
       The sale of K500 lottery tickets was started in March 2017 and will stop at the end of April.
       “We increased the price of lottery tickets from K50 to K100, from K100 to K200, from K200 to K500 and from K500 to K1000. We will end the sale of K500 lottery tickets after the sale of K1000 lottery tickets started in February,” she said.
       At the present, both lottery tickets are on sale at the retail shops.
