Aung La N Sang invites Myanmar expatriates in Japan to watch his bout

Aung La N Sang, two-division ONE World Champion invited Myanmar expatriates in Japan to come and support ONE: A New Era to be held in Tokyo, Japan on March 31.
       The event will be the biggest in One Championship history and includes four World Champion challenging bouts. In this event, Myanmar’s national hero mixed martial artist Aung La N Sang will fight with Ken Hasegawa from Japan.
       “Ken will compete in front of his supporters so it will make him heartening. But I defeated him in the event that took place here. So, competition in rival’s home doesn’t have much pressure. I’ve prepared to the utmost. I heard some Myanmar expatriates in Japan are preparing to come to support this event. I don’t know exactly. It will make me more encouraged if Myanmar expatriates will come to support me,” said Aung La N Sang.
       This is the second match between Aung La N Sang and Ken Hasegawa. In the last meeting in 2018 in Yangon, Aung La N Sang won with referee stoppage and protected his Championship title. The match was stated as the best match of ONE Championship for 2018.
       "Ken is a difficult opponent but both will try their best and it would be a great match. Myanmar fans travelling to Japan to cheer for me give me strength. I would like to invite Myanmar people in Japan to come cheer for me," said Aung La N Sang.
       Even though he is having a match at the opponent's homeland, the crowd would not be an obstacle as he got many experience, he said.
       "I have many experiences in matches at other countries as well. Although Ken has many fans, there will be some Myanmar people cheering for me there and so, it's not like I don’t have fans either. There are many people who will cheer for me on TV as well," he said.
