Massive bear spotted wandering California neighbourhood

A huge black bear was seen wandering in a Monrovia neighbourhood in California on Friday morning, prompting a response from local news media, wildlife officials and curious onlookers -- some getting a little too close to the giant animal. The mammal, which appeared to have a brown coat, was spotted making its way along residential streets and into nearby alleys, and even into the front yards of several homes. There was a bear spotted in the same neighbourhood on Thursday, but it's unclear if it is the same animal.
